For The Sake Of The One

It’s the time of year when we get our homes ready for all the guests that will be visiting throughout the holidays. It’s easy to get caught up in our own rituals and traditions. As a church it’s easy to do the same. However, that’s not the Church that Jesus modelled. He challenged the religiosity of the day and welcomed the “outsiders” to the banquet table. Room was made for each of us. Now, more than ever, we need to be a people who make room for those who are not like us.  We need to be a church that is on mission that moves the heart of God. It’s time to set the table for the One’s the Lord will bring to Himself this season.
