Dear John”. A message on 1 John and what the Chruch must do with these words. Consider the series to be our practical response to the powerful truths John presents. John is writing to a very divisive period in Church history. The Early Church was still greatly divided, most notably over the incarnation of Christ. That the Church experiences confusion around divisive times is not new. But the response during these times is the same as it has always been, to believe in the Son, to follow His commandments, and to love one another through the Spirit He gives us.
