It Feels Like Home
The Christian life is a pilgrimage — a journey of where we’ve come from and where we’re headed. And all of us are headed home. One thing’s for sure: we aren’t home yet. Deep down, we know that this world cannot be all there is. Something inside calls to us, as the Psalmist wrote, “Deep calls out to deep,” and our imaginations draw us forward in faith.
Homes are more broken today than ever before. People innately feel the need to be part of a story that is larger their own individuality. We are headed home, not there yet, and the church’s job is to open the door. And when you are a part of what God is doing in the midst of your community, it feels like home.
