Where to now?
Starting Point is a conversational small group environment where people can explore faith and experience community.
Everyone has questions about God, Jesus, or Christianity at some point in their life. If you’re still asking yourself what Christianity is all about, whether the Bible is more than just a book, or who Jesus really is, then we invite you to sign up for Starting Point. Starting point is a safe place for discussion about who God is, and where each of us fits in the big picture. It’s perfect for those who have recently committed their lives to Jesus, for those who are still curious about the faith, and even those who have been in Church for a while, but still struggle with some of these questions.
Our hope is that Waters Church would be a community of friends engaged in gospel-centered relationships resembling the early church (Acts 2:42). Small Groups are the best opportunity we have for that. Therefore we believe active participation in a small group is critical for your spiritual health as a part of the local church.
Gathering in groups creates an atmosphere that causes believers and non-believers to grow in their understanding and application of God’s direction in our lives. Groups help create the community we seek in life’s journey. We believe discipleship happens in relationships, and those relationships are formed in small groups.
This is why it’s so critical for you to be in a Small Group here at Waters Church.
Baptism is an amazing time for new believers to declare that they now belong to Jesus. It is a public declaration of our faith in Christ, as well as a celebration of our new life in Him. Baptism does not save the believer but is instead an outward symbolic representation of the inward work of grace through faith. If you have not been baptized, we encourage you to do so in obedience to the command of our Lord Jesus Christ.
You have gifts to offer and a place to be at Waters Church. Volunteering is not just about helping others. Today is the day to start living your life with a higher purpose in mind – come and find out for yourself the wonderful opportunities of ministry God has specifically designed you for.

Money and church can be a touchy issue – but it doesn’t have to be. We don’t give because God needs our money, and we don’t give because the church needs our money. It’s much bigger than that. We give because God asked us to, and following through shows that we trust Him.
As believers, it is critical that we understand what the Bible says about tithing. The purpose of tithing is to teach us to put God first in our lives. God doesn’t need our money. Instead, He wants what our money represents: our priorities, passions, purposes. Make a commitment to tithe and dedicate yourself to it. And more than anything … trust God and let Him prove His promises.
