At Waters Church, we believe that Jesus is God. We take him at his word. Because of this, everything we do is all about Jesus. We invite you to learn more about this man who is God and how you can find forgiveness and new life in him.
Everyone has questions about God, Jesus, or Christianity at some point in their life. If you’re still asking yourself what Christianity is all about, whether the Bible is more than just a book, or who Jesus really is, then we invite you to sign up for Starting Point. Starting point is a safe place for discussion about who God is, and where each of us fits in the big picture. It’s perfect for those who have recently committed their lives to Jesus, for those who are still curious about the faith, and even those who have been in Church for a while, but still struggle with some of these questions.
If you have been coming to Waters Church for some time and are wondering about the mission of the church or why we do what we do, check out Growth Track. In this 3 part class; Discover, Deepen, & Dedicate; you will get answers to the most frequently asked questions about the church & our supported ministries. You’ll have an opportunity to ask your own questions too!
Gathering in groups creates an atmosphere that causes believers and non-believers to grow in their understanding and application of God’s direction in our lives. Groups help create the community we seek in life’s journey. We believe discipleship happens in relationships, and those relationships are formed in small groups.
This is why it’s so critical for you to be in a Small Group here at Waters Church.
Money and church can be a touchy issue – but it doesn’t have to be. We don’t give because God needs our money, and we don’t give because the church needs our money. It’s much bigger than that. We give because God asked us to, and following through shows that we trust Him.
As believers, it is critical that we understand what the Bible says about tithing. The purpose of tithing is to teach us to put God first in our lives. God doesn’t need our money. Instead, He wants what our money represents: our priorities, passions, purposes. Make a commitment to tithe and dedicate yourself to it. And more than anything … trust God and let Him prove His promises.
